“I itch. My head aches. And the fever has returned.” Severus was practically whining.

Remus had never seen Severus so needy. Who could know it only took a well thought out hex to bring him so low?

“Come to the bath. Poppy has sent a lovely mix to go in the water that she says will help the itch. I’ll get you another fever potion , as well.”

“I knew no good could come of know-it-all Granger marrying into that damned mischievous Weasley brood. Muggle Chicken Pox! I thought I was too old for this sort of indignity.”

Thank you. And um, I see that this wasn't for this week's challenge. I don't actually allow non-challenge drabbles to be posted here, it just gets too cluttered otherwise. I'll let it go this time as we're having a slow week but if in future you could only post for the current challenge...

...and I see you've done a drabble for the challenge and I'm going to go leave feedback on that right now :)

Thanks. I, obviously, didn't fully read the instructions first. Sorry to clutter up your nice space here. I will try to post challenges whenever you have them. I am new to this writing business and so I hadn't joined any communities until very recently and I haven't completely got the hang of it yet.

It's fine. I think for a new writer you're doing very good. I've only been writing fanfic for about 18 months so I remember what it was like getting started :) And I love having new people post.

There are new challenges every Tues. I'll post it later today as by my time zone it's nearly 5.30am and I still haven't gone to bed!
