Later that day, by the forest, Remus encountered Snape.
"Severus, I'm terribly sorry, I know I should have…"
"Lupin will you SHUT IT!"
Suddenly without warning, Remus was hanging in the air by his ankles.
"Of course your friends aren't here, or you wouldn't be apologizing for them!" Snape sneered. Lupin's face was flushed, but of course he was upside down.
"What are you..."
Snape leaned in, placed his palms against Remus' cheeks, and kissed him, his thin upper lip soft against Remus' plump lower lip.
"Just shut up, Lupin, " Snape whispered. He turned away and Remus fell, hard.
