Severus mentally slapped himself. He never panicked. He also never brought tea into his lab. As he watched the dark brew turn the honey colored potion into a familiar amber, the researcher took over. Could bergamot tea change the efficacy of the potion? Thank Merlin I take it black. Severus consulted the potions ingredients for possible interactions, then his improved procedure for timing and potential instability. The bergamot extract will either replace the bicorn powder or… the caffeine will accelerate the transformation or…I must ward the Shack. Cursing the anti-apparition twice he walked to the passage, robes billowing behind him.

Wow, I actually wrote Snupin that isn't fluff :)
But yeah, Severus is a master for a reason and knowing him he is sooo beating himself up.
