Severus decided he enjoyed having Madame Maxime as a colleague because she didn’t meddle. “Stop hunting him. He will come to you,” had been more than research advice, but even then it was only a gentle shove. A week of not hunting however means a week of not creating a procedure- Severus stopped mid thought to compare the original procedure to the all the modified procedures he’d created. To continue to call it Wolfsbane is absurd. He smiled, as he set about naming his potion. He hadn’t even picked up his quill when there was a knock at the door.
