Remus snuggled close to Severus. February had undoubtedly been a ridiculous time to get married. The wedding had gone without a hitch; if you didn't count Severus' mother who took the lack of mace in the groom's cake as a personal affront, and his own mother who had insisted loudly that Severus should have worn white. The fruitcake had been excellent and his Russian Navy and Severus' dark aubergine robes made for stunning pictures. Tomorrow, they would be off on their honeymoon where robes would be optional and the only fruit around would be floating in absurdly strong tropical drinks.
