Title: Not Exactly a Holiday

The first thing Remus did after being hired for his new Ministry of Magic post, was take a holiday.  It was a holiday that most wouldn’t consider as such. He slipped past the bright white curtains and onto the small, straight, hard chair. The figure in the bed was ghostly pale, with long black hair scattered across the pillow and an ominous white dressing about his throat. Remus twined his fingers with Severus’ as be began the fourth day of his vigil.

 

Remus almost fell over when Severus’ low, practically imperceptible, pain roughened voice requested he join him in bed.
