"I predict you'll stay with her because you're too frightened to leave." Severus rose, nodded to Dora as she walked into the tent, and swept into a back area. Remus swallowed, then turned to his wife.

"Dora - "

"That was Snape, wasn't it?" Her face morphed into a mockery of Severus'. "You never stopped looking for him, and now you've found him. Never mind that I had your child, and that I saved your life during that - "

"You bullied me into marriage and nearly left Teddy an orphan." Remus stood. Adrenaline sang in his veins. "I'm sorry, Dora. But enough is enough. We both deserve happiness."

"I am happy! You - "

"I'm gay, Dora! Gay, gay, GAY!" It was good beyond description to shout. "If you can't live with that, too bad!"

Nails stung his cheek as her wand slashed at him. He dabbed at his cheek as she stormed out, screaming that he'd never see Teddy again. The girl at the entrance stared at him in shock.

There was a rustle from the rear of the tent. "Go after her, Lupin. Your son - "

"We'll share custody." Remus turned. "I'm not leaving you again."
