The soft moans drew Remus’ attention towards the other infirmary bed.  His heart lurched at the sight of Severus’ pale face twisted against the nightmares plaguing his sleep.  Remus longed to smooth away the lines, but he didn’t dare.  After all, he was the reason Severus was here.  Damn Sirius and his pranks.  

 

Soon moans turned into terrified whimpers.  Remus’ heart screamed at him to comfort his love.  And before his mind could protest, his hand was gently smoothing away the frown marring Severus’ face.  Surprisingly, Severus calmed and turned towards his gentle touch.  

 

Perhaps his Sev will forgive him.
