Title: Cocoa-of-the-Month Club
Challenge: chocolate
Word Count: 100
Note: This demolishes a fanon cliché, but I can't resist…

Remus normally loved Christmas, so Severus did not expect Remus to curse and chuck the gift certificate across the coffee table. He summoned the certificate before Remus could incinerate it.

"The Cocoa-of-the-Month Club?" Severus held the paper at arm's length. "'A selection of drinking chocolates from the finest cacao plantations in the - '"

"Harry shouldn't have." Remus rolled his eyes. "I don't like chocolate. You can drink the nasty stuff when it comes, God knows I won't."

It was too bad Potter wouldn't know how much Severus would enjoy his gift to his favorite teacher. "Thank you," said Severus.

Bwahaha, nice. And I love that Harry doesn't know about Remus' likes and dislikes. *chuckles* Nice.

Too funny!

You know, do we ever really see Remus eat the chocolate? He just gives some to Harry because of the Dementors...

That cliche makes me crazy. I'll enjoy fics in spite of it, but it invariably perks me up when I see someone go against it.

Specific to this drabble: The last line is perfect! :-)

Heheh, I like the idea that Severus is the one to like chocolate. *hee* Nicely done. ^_^

Haha! That's awesome. I can just see it: "everybody thinks I like chocolate now! Stupid movie!"
