"Time, gentlemen!" Tom watched as the regulars finished their pints and shuffled out the door. "Closing time, Ministry regs - sorry, Mr. Lupin. We're closed."

Lupin smacked both hands down against the bar. "Tom. I'll pay you double. But if I don't bring back a pickle and salmon sandwich with olives, my life won't be worth living."

Tom had heard worse combinations. "I'm sorry, but - "

"You don't understand. He's having another craving, Tom."

"Oh." Tom altered a sandwich and thrust it into Lupin's hands. "How much longer?"

"Six weeks." Lupin smiled weakly and disapparated.

"Poor bugger," said Tom.

*snicker* This reminds of stories my dad told me of when my mom was pregnant with me. The night manager of the McD's where we lived at the time used to stay late with 4 strawberry sundaes ready every night for 3 months.
