I.
Remus felt a twinge of sadness as he listened to his parents chatter. Yes, it was a great day in Diagon Alley, a perfect day to be buying school supplies for the upcoming year.
But this trip, things were different. He’d graduated the previous year. Now, they visited the shops looking for anyone who’d hire him.
So they continued on their way and walked past Gringott’s Bank.
Despite himself, Remus looked into Knockturn Alley. It beckoned with its promises of things forbidden. He shouldn’t have been surprised when he saw Severus Snape step out into Diagon Alley.
But he was.
II.
Severus adjusted the strap of his satchel over his shoulder. He smiled. Thanks to Mr. Borgin, he now had that reference volume on poisonous plant interactions! It almost made up for the fact that he’d had to use tailoring charms on his clothes yet again.
Almost.
Part of him felt a little sad at having to leave Knockturn Alley. The street was home to him in some ways. No one mocked his knowledge there. They understood him, unlike everyone else. They respected him.
Feeling someone’s gaze on him, he looked up. Across the street, Remus Lupin watched him.
Oh, Shit.
III.
Remus felt like an idiot, standing there. He didn’t even hear his mother’s question until she asked it a second time.
Was Severus a friend of his? No, but he couldn’t tell her why. He couldn’t let his parents know all the things that had happened between the Marauders and ‘Snivellus’ Snape. He couldn’t handle their disappointment. So he just nodded.
When she suggested that he go over and visit the young man, who really wasn’t his friend even though she thought he was, Remus did.
But he couldn’t step into Knockturn Alley. The place creeped him out.
Like Snape.
IV.
“Hello, Snape.”
Severus glared at him with a hatred that seemed to heat the air between them. “What is it, Lupin?” he asked through clenched teeth. “I don’t have time to waste talking to beasts.”
Something inside Remus snapped. Reaching up, he grabbed Severus’ upper arms and pushed him backwards. Severus had no choice but to take those steps back or risk falling on his arse in front of everyone. And Remus knew he was too proud to do that.
They retreated into the shadowy world of Knockturn Alley, and Remus guided them between the first two buildings he saw.
V.
Severus wanted to scream, to demand to know where they were going, to command Remus to unhand him. But he did neither. He just stepped backwards and allowed himself to be led back into Knockturn Alley.
Truth be told, part of him feared Remus Lupin, not that he would ever admit it to the filthy beast.
And when he felt the cool brick against his back as Lupin pressed him up against the side of the place that sold tools for vivisection, Severus just looked at the werewolf. He couldn’t think of anything to say.
He kissed Remus Lupin instead.
VI.
Remus didn’t know what was happening. Then, it struck him. He was being kissed by ‘Snivellus’ Snape in Knockturn Alley.
No, not ‘Snivellus.’ Severus.
‘Snivellus’ didn’t have warm lips that pressed against his, or a tongue that pushed forward into his mouth. ‘Snivellus’ wasn’t a person, really. Not like this. This was Severus.
Remus moved his tongue out and into Severus’ mouth, where their tongues twirled around each other in a way that was the most fantastic thing Remus had ever experienced. He moaned, the sound muffled by the close contact of their mouths.
Severus pulled away.
“Don’t stop.”
“Shh.”
VII.
Slowly, Severus eased himself down onto his knees. He looked up at Remus’ face and felt a little thrill at how flushed Remus was. He lowered his gaze to look at the front of Remus’ robes. He didn’t need his Slytherin cunning to see the opportunity before him. Now, he could make all those late-night fantasies real. Here, in Knockturn Alley.
Would the fantasy live up to the reality?
Reaching down, he lifted the hem of Remus’ robe, which was just as tattered as his own, upwards until he saw white Y-fronts.. He swallowed.
“If you want this, tell me.”
VIII.
“Merlin, yes.”
Remus’ voice sounded so husky, even to his own ears, but he couldn’t help it. Nothing and no one was as hot at that moment as the sight of Severus Snape kneeling in front of him with his face just inches from Remus’ crotch. Already, Remus felt his cock twitch to life.
Part of him knew this was wrong. His parents would die from shame if they knew what he was doing. The other Marauders would never speak to him again. But none of them were in Knockturn Alley at that moment. Severus was.
“Just do it. Please.”
IX.
He, Severus Snape, Hogwarts pariah, had made one of the most gorgeous students ever to attend that place beg for his attentions. He smirked. He could forget what Remus was for a little while.
With slow movements, he pulled Remus’ underpants down to the middle of his thighs. The scent of Remus assailed him, spicy and rich and so perfectly intoxicating. Reaching up, he grasped Remus’ cock and held it still while he gave its head a tentative lick.
The moan from above urged him on. He took it into his mouth.
Remus cried out. Knockturn Alley’s noise covered it.
X.
Nothing felt as good as this, not hands, not charms, not anything else. It was so warm, so wet, so perfect for his cock. Remus’ knees almost buckled from the pleasure of it all.
Reaching down, he placed one of his hands on Severus’ hair. It didn’t matter that the hair was greasy. The hair wasn’t sucking, and licking, and teasing his cock. Remus tried to buck into that wet heat, but a sharp slap against his arse stilled him.
Standing still, he watched Severus’ head move back and forth.
Welcome to Knockturn Alley, Remus Lupin, he said to himself.
XI.
Seveus ignored the ache in his jaw and the tingle in his lips. He couldn’t give up before he finished it. He’d already shown too much bloody weakness around the Marauders.
But he had the power now. He was the cause of Remus Lupin’s moans of pleasure in Knockturn Alley - not Potter, not Black, and not even Pettigrew, as sickening as that thought was.
A spurt of semen shot out into his mouth. He moved to pull his head away. The gentle pressure of Lupin’s hand on the back of his head stopped him.
Maybe Lupin had power, too.
XII.
“Sorry about that, Severus.”
Severus got to his feet and spit onto the alley’s surface. Remus pulled up his underpants and adjusted himself, then let his robe fall back into place.
“You should be.”
“I should have let you move away.”
Severus scowled. Lupin’s apologetic tone grated his nerves. “But you didn’t. Just like with everything else you know you shouldn’t do, but you do anyway.”
The bitterness in his voice made Severus even angrier. Damn Lupin for making him forget who he was, and who his friends were, even for a little while.
He looked out into Knockturn Alley.
XIII.
Renus fidgeted. He didn’t know what to say. It was hard to talk to Severus after what had happened. No, not Severus, ‘Snivellus.’
‘Snivellus’ was sullen, and hurt, and angry. ‘Snivellus’ made it his purpose in life to insult and demean others at every opportunity. ‘Snivellus’ wasn’t the one who’d made him come harder than he ever had before.
But Severus was gone. Only ‘Snivellus’ remained.
“Listen, Snape,” said Remus. “I really have to be going. My parents will be livid if they find out I’ve been in Knockturn Alley. I’ll see you around, okay?”
Remus ran before Severus answered.
XIV.
Severus waited until Lupin had disappeared before he stepped out into Knockturn Alley. He hated the bitter aftertaste in his mouth. He never swallowed, as a rule. It disgusted him. But he had swallowed for the bloody werewolf.
Lupin was right to leave quickly. It was better for them both to forget the sordid little incident had every happened, that Severus had so willingly sucked a werewolf’s cock.
But even as he headed back in the direction of the boarding house where he’d lived since their Hogwarts graduation, Severus knew forgetting it would be impossible.
His dreams wouldn’t permit it.
