Severus didn’t tell anyone why he spent most of his time in here, even when they asked. No one would believe him, anyway. He didn’t have any real reason to be looking for the complex potions and research about lycanthropes after all.
And yet, here he was, day after day, searching for a way to cure someone of it.
It all came down to Remus. It always had. Remus had sparked his fear of wolves, fed his curiosity, and offered himself as a guinea pig of sorts.
The Room provided everything he needed. Now he just had to find it.
