"Blasted wolf, getting lost in a storm - "
It had been snowing when Moony romped away at moonset. Overnight it had turned into a blizzard, and Severus had to squint in the dazzling white. He had brought blankets, soup, and clothing, and had flown through the Forest looking for his mate.
"Remus! Damn it, where are you?"
Snow burst from the mouth of a cave. Remus, the local pack alpha, and her mate stumbled out. Severus landed and threw the blankets over them.
"S-s-severus - "
"Drink this." Severus hugged him until he stopped shivering. "Idiot."
"Love you t-too."
