"What's wrong with Frostfire?" Remus held a paint chip up to the window. "It almost shimmers."
"It looks like Madam Puddifoot's." Severus jabbed his finger at another chip. "What about this?"
Remus squinted at the lettering. "Arabian Beige? Looks pink to me."
"Hm. You have a point." Severus chewed his lower lip. "Anything else?"
"Evening Shade?"
"Too violet."
"Blue Horizon?"
"Too blue."
Remus hesitated. "Eggshell? Nice neutral."
"Too bland."
"Don't you like anything?" They'd been at it for two hours, with no end in sight.
"How about Honey Gold?" Severus compared a chip to Remus's ponytail. "It matches."
Remus blushed.
