Remus waited as the clerk removed the fourteen inch wooden truncheon and the intricately carved platinum handcuffs from the case.  Severus' eyes had glazed over with lust as he'd read that this particular pair of items had been on the list of possessions that the Malfoy's had sold to pay their massive post-war fine.  Remus had wondered which item was Lucius' favorite and which was Severus' and if Narcissa had instigated their sale.  She was known to be extremely jealous.  Months after the sale, they had finally turned up here; Remus could already picture an interrogation scene of his own making.
