Severus' voice, nine parts exasperation, one part affection, broke his reverie. "Lupin, it is just a book."

"It's our book." Remus held out the book to Severus, MAGICAL SELF-DEFENCE: A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO DEFENCE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS.

"Our first book," Severus corrected, smirking. "The publishers wish to discuss an Advanced Guide." Unbuttoning his shirt, he added, voice sultry, "Does your co-author merit some of your bibliophilic attention?"

Remus hastily placed the book on the bed-side table, his gaze fixed on Severus' hands slowly unbuttoning his clothing.
