The chief Auror leant on the desk. “Right lads, how’s it going on that werewolf attack? Started the interrogations yet?”
“Just off to bring in the usual suspects, sir. Here’s the list of all the dark’n’furries registered in the area.”
“Right, carry on. Wait – not that one. Remus J Lupin. You can leave him out.”
“Oh? Mate of yours, is he sir?” The junior Auror was curious. It wasn’t like his boss to go against the book.
“Hardly. No, he’s Severus Snape’s bit of rough. And trust me,” he shuddered in remembrance, “you don’t want to face that one’s wrath.
