Authors Notes: sorry, it's a bit late. I'm new at this and haven't figured out all this business with posting, cuts, links, etc & etc. This is my first fic of any kind. Hope you enjoy it. *smiles nervously*

“Just a quick stop, Har—”

Harry barely avoided Ron as he suddenly froze in the doorway.  Normally, anyone would be astounded to see the potions master inside Honeydukes, but it was the delivery owl that dumbfounded Harry.

“All set, dear.  Just in time for tea; like always,” said the saleswitch to Snape while she sent off the owl with an obscenely-large, heart-shaped box of the shop’s finest chocolates.

Memories of Remus greeting that same owl with a dazzling smile flashed across Harry’s mind.  

Snape merely smirked at the two as he swept past, leaving them gaping in horrified silence.
