Title: Zefferelli's "Romeo and Juliet"
Author: Cedar
Word Count: 100
Challenge: Happy endings
Rated: G
“Why did you shut it off?”
“I always stop it there.” Remus had forgotten this might pose a problem.
“Why?” Severus asked, frown lines pronounced.
“If I stop it before the end, it always has a happy ending.”
Severus’s glare seared into Remus.
“You talked me into watching this damn Muggle tripe, and now you won’t let me see the end?”
“If you want to, I’ll leave the room. You can watch it,” Remus replied. “Sometimes I prefer not to know.”
“You are ridiculous,” Severus said, but his expression softened, and his fingers brushed Remus’s cheek. "It is only fiction."
