Remus felt thousands of tiny glass shards shift on and around him.

“Keep your eyes closed, your sweat has crystalized.” Deft fingers brushed his eyes clear.

“Severus!” A hot hand covered his mouth.

“Quiet.” In one swift motion Remus found himself upright and flush against the potions master. He smiled leaning into the dark wizard. “Idiot,” the potions master murmured before apparating them into a familiar sitting room.

“That was--” He couldn’t bring himself to say ‘morgue’.

“Not a transformation induced by the full moon, yes.” Severus tightened his hold, he knew Remus wasn’t shivering because he was cold.
