A/N:If Remus ever doubted he fancied Severus before, there's no question now. A redemption drabble.
Remus drew his wand, stepping between a shrieking little girl and the enormous clown emerging from the alley. Both of them laughed as the moon deflated and landed in the dumpster that Remus spelled closed.
“Mum said it’s silly to be afraid of clowns” she sniffed looking down.
“That’s not silly at all-“
“Of course it isn’t.” Remus turned to see a dark, formidable wizard pick-up a large stuffed dog and hand it to the shaking little girl. “I fear them and perhaps your friend there does as well.” Severus added softly rising to his full height. Remus’ heart melted.
