Severus dined alone with Lupin that evening, then walked him to the Shack enduring the werewolf’s slightly crooked smile. While Lupin trusted the botched potion, Severus refused to risk its failure so he decided to wait outside the passage until Lupin returned. By midnight he was one cup of tea away from never sleeping again so he never expected to wake up in bed next to that lovely hot body.
“Tired.” the werewolf mumbled snuggling closer.
“Stay.”
Severus woke missing the werewolf’s warmth but then that slightly crooked smile returned with breakfast and tea.
“It worked! Scone?” Severus kissed him.
