"Thank you!" Remus grinned he accepted a glass of champagne. "The students had a wonderful time. It was a bit of bother at first, but - "

"One never would have known." Minerva pursed her lips as Ivor strode in as if he expected a standing ovation. "Excuse me."

"The conquering hero is about to be taken down a peg." Severus smirked. "Good job controlling Abercrombie."

"I had help." Remus raised his glass in salute. Their glasses clinked.
