Mod Post: Community Deathly Hallows Spoiler Policy

This got long but I won’t cut in the hope that everyone will read it. Will also be linked from the userinfo.

I will not tolerate spoilers in this community.

All drabbles and drawbles set during, after or dealing with anything involving events from Deathly Hallows must be behind a cut until September 30th* (I’ll post a “you’re now free to spoil the world” announcement nearer the time).

What I do want to see is spoiler warnings outside a cut e.g. Warning: Deathly Hallows Spoilers. I want specific warnings to be behind a cut. I imagine Deathly Hallows may be quite severe on our ship so if you’re dealing with other aspects of the book particularly character death I don’t want people freaking out at you or me.

That goes for other things, such as mood and icons.

Just be sensible. I’ve never had any trouble as a mod here before and I’m sure you’ll all be careful.

That being said, if you haven’t read the book and you’re clicking on drabbles/drawbles where warnings are clearly present, it is not my nor the writers/artists problem.

And if you do spoil the community expect me to get stompy in my stylish yet affordable mod boots and believe me, that will not be a pleasant sight.

Also, because I’m sure we remember the moron who went around spoiling the entire Internet last time I’ll be putting the community on moderated status from the Tuesday before publication till the Tuesday after.

For myself I will be offline on the day of publication but I should have read the book by the evening when I'll be back online to make sure everyone is behaving themselves.
