Of Comeuppance and Tea-towels
Jun. 2nd, 2007 12:34 pmTitle: Of Comeuppance and Tea-towels
Challenge: #108, Dressing Up
Word Count: 100
Warnings: Nope!
Rating: G
Characters: Snape/Lupin, Malfoy
Author's Notes: Lucius POV. Standard disclaimer. And er...Hermione would not be pleased. Hehe.
Lucius despised the word ‘unfair.’ A lifetime of the lesser populace throwing it in one's direction could put off even the most stoic wizard.
However, he never anticipated how much more savagely he’d detest the concept the minute he considered using it.
“Don’t you think he’s a mite overdressed for the occasion?” Lupin suggested in his calm way, looking almost elegant in a crimson linen robe. His gold trim twinkled condescendingly. Severus, ornate in silver embroidered green velvet, merely smirked at Lucius before waving him into a tea towel.
Losing the war? Unexpected. Indentured servitude? Unimaginable!
But this? Totally unfair.
