My very first fic! (in this fandom, anyway)

Long-time lurker, first-time poster and all that. So I hope it doesn't suck. Apart from my comics, which are much easier for me to write (though far more time-consuming), this is the second fic I've ever posted, the first being a longer X-Files fic I wrote back in high school. OK, enough with the excuses.
