"Lupin, I do not say this lightly. This is the worst idea you've ever had for our holiday."

Remus opened one eye and lazily glanced over. "You have to relax, Severus. You're too tense."

"I am not tense."

"You're sitting up so straight I nearly expect a geometry teacher to arrive and use your spine as a lesson in perpendicular lines."

"Good posture is never wrong." Severus let his shoulders fall a fraction of an inch.

Remus shook his head, holding the pole casually. "They'll never bite. They can probably feel you glaring."

"I said it was a wretched idea."
