Author's Notes: Severus gives Remus a vial of Wolfsbane before going on the run.
“Dumbledore knew.”
“I believe you, Severus,” Remus said softly, taking in a breath, “But you know it isn’t safe here.”
Severus nodded, running a hand through the werewolf’s ginger hair gently, “I know that, but I just wanted to give you this...” He said, taking a small vial out of his pocket, “I daresay you’ll need it.”
Remus took it from the former Potions master’s hand, then pressed his lips against it.
“I am sorry that it has to be like this, Remus.” Severus said mournfully, “But I have to go.” Remus nodded, his brow furrowed.
“Severus... I love you.”
