A loud explosion coming from the second floor startled Remus as he was taking off his coat. He rushed up the stairs, then padded stealthily down the hall.
A string of muttered expletives came from the bedroom.
As Remus pushed open the door, he was momentarily confused by all the snow in the room.
“Oh, god…of course he’s fucking home…why wouldn’t he be…”
Remus turned towards his muttering lover and stepped in, bracing himself for cold and wet.
“Why wouldn’t there be witnesses to my glorious housekeeping skills…”
Sneezing, Remus realized the room was full of floating feathers.
