“We make a perfect pair.”

With his back to Severus, Remus concentrated on that wonderful voice, so full of everything forbidden . . .

“Ridiculous, Severus. We could never get along – not as a couple.” He turned around, against his better judgement, and lost himself in the shadow play of obsidian eyes in a pale face. He shook his head.

Severus smirked, parting his lips just enough to expose the tips of fanged canine teeth. “I drink the blood. You eat the flesh.”

“Greyback forbids contact with vampires.”

“Then I’ll kill him, provided you accept my offer.”

Remus nodded. “Yes.”
