“Furious” didn’t even begin to describe how angry Remus felt as he punched the stone wall beside him. When he thought of a bed laden with soft blankets and pillows, the Room would give it to him. When he thought of a soft, comfortable chair, it appeared under him. And when he thought of a large bottle of the strongest firewhiskey, it was instantly beside him. But no matter how long or hard or desperately he thought of what he really wanted most, the Room didn’t provide. And if the Room of Requirement couldn’t bring Severus back to Remus…what could?
