The bloody werewolf was talking again. Severus paused, mid-thrust. “What?”

“You know, it’s funny, all the jokes about Sirius liking it doggy-style, but actually you and I do it this way far more often.” Lupin seemed wistful, remembering. “Sirius always preferred face-to-face. Or standing up, he liked that too.”

“One moment, Lupin.” Severus reached over to the bedside table and took a swift drink from a vial he had placed there earlier.

“What’s that, Severus?”

“Oh, just something I’ve been working on. To heighten the pleasure.”

The potion took effect. Severus sighed in ecstasy as blessed silence filled his ears.
