He'd made marks. Too many marks.
“Severus, how am I supposed to hide all of these from my students? Not to mention the staff. My neck looks like a field of strawberries.” Remus was trying on various scarves, to humorous effect.
“I will make an effort to stay below your collar tonight,” said Severus. He walked up behind his panicked lover, wrapped his arms around him from behind, and added one more small bite at the curve of his shoulder.
"More?” Exasperated, Remus leaned into him.
“I have to mark you, Lupin. You’re mine.” Severus’s voice was like heavy cream.
