Rating: PG
Challenge: Halloween
Characters: Severus/remus/The rest of the order/The rest of the world
Authors Notes: Post HBP, Seven Acrostics, all spelling out Halloween (naturally)... not sure where I was going with this aside from pure boredom. They all connect to one another though I think they can be read separately... enjoy.

Anniversary at Grimmauld

Rating: PG
Pairing: Remus/Severus

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Remus shut the bedroom door and sat on the rickety chair before the table. Sirius had passed out drunk in his mother’s room a half hour before. Remus wasn’t surprised. He took out a book of matches and lit the candle with a shaking hand, the low light flickering over the glass frame that covered James and Lily. The door opening startled him.
“I was simply making my report and noticed…if you were perhaps ill…. With the moon on its way…your potion.” The words were stilted and mumbled and spoken into the floor.
“Thank you, Severus,” was all Remus said.
Newbie post.
Title: Hollow
Word Count: (100)
Rating: PG
Challenge: Halloween
Characters: Severus (Remus)
Authors Notes: My first post here!
He walks swiftly down dingy streets towards his house on Spinner’s end. He refuses to call it home because his heart is not there. He stalks the shadows and is taunted by bodiless specters. Jack-o-lanterns with carved in faces, laughing at him, making fun of the lonely, broken man.
He thinks back to a year ago and remembers the warm smile of his lover. Laughing as he carved the silhouette of a howling wolf into fragrant, orange flesh. But that laughter is gone now. And on this All Hallows Eve, Severus feels as empty as the jack-o-lanterns that mock him.
