Remus stalked through the corridors, robes billowing around him in undeniably satisfying fashion. He glared at a gaggle of students chatting near a classroom. “Twenty points from Ravenclaw!” he snarled.

“But what for, Professor?” a foolhardy soul asked.

“Malicious lingering!” Remus shot back “And a further ten points for questioning me!”

The students fled without another word.

A familiar face awaited him around the next corner. “Enjoying it, aren’t you?” Severus smirked.

Remus smiled ruefully, the expression looking a little odd on features polyjuiced into a replica of his lover’s.

“Yes, you win the bet. I’ll wear the lingerie tonight.”

This is probably rather less Snupiny than it ought to be, but I couldn’t resist!


Intoxicated, Remus had docked more house points in an hour than he had in his entire tenure to date.

When he judged he had about five polyjuiced minutes remaining, Remus reluctantly returned to his office. He’d barely sat down before the door burst open, and Harry Potter charged in. “Professor Lupin! Snape’s gone mental! He’s – oh. Um, s-sorry, Professor Snape.”

Remus drew himself up to his full, enhanced height. “Professor Lupin does not have time for your pathetic whining today, Potter. Now get out!”

Harry fled, and Remus punched the air ecstatically. Yes! He’d wanted to say that for ages.
