Severus picked up the heart-shaped box. His brow furrowed.
"It's a Valentine's present," Remus said.
"Yes," Severus said, but he continued to look confused.
"It contains chocolate."
"Ah," Severus said. "A present for you."
Remus laughed until Severus tried to hand him the box. "Severus...?"
"What?"
"Why can't you just accept that I gave you a Valentine's present?"
Severus looked at the velvet box with the ribbons and scowled. "It's... pink."
"Pink and red are the traditional colors," Remus said.
"You'd think they'd come in Slytherin green. Or black. And it's a bit large."
"You want a small black heart?"
