Oh, no way! God, this is fantastic. How is it possible that up until this very second I have completely forgotten the connection between Halloween and Godric's Hollow? Gah. I should be kicked out of the fandom. :) I just read this about five times in a row. It's beautiful, with so much packed into so few words, especially in the opening paragraph.
