AN: this takes place in the same non-magical AU as my Secrets series
Remus watched Severus scribbling furiously. Lately he’d been working on a supernatural novel, a departure from his normal crime fare, and had been asking Remus all manner of questions about being a werewolf, most of which Remus was unable to answer, leaving him feeling to his embarrassment somewhat inadequate as a lycanthrope.
“Lupin. Do you ever experience bloodlust whilst in human form?”
Remus considered. Did he ever feel the urge to hunt, to kill, to sink his teeth into someone’s throat, feel the hot, rich blood flooding into his mouth and the weakening throes of his victim…
“No.” he answered.
