In a shocking post-war development, the gravestone of Peter Pettigrew, heroic victim of the late You-Know-Who, was knocked over and altered to read "PETER PETTIGREW: TRAITOR." Pettigrew's mother was obliviated until the stone could be repaired.
Witnesses state that a man and a large, shaggy dog were seen leaving the scene about the time of the desecration…
Severus was waiting with a glass of champagne when Remus awoke. "What's that for?"
"Rectifying an injustice." Severus clinked their glasses. "'War hero' indeed!"
"Funny way to honor the dead," said Remus.
"But so very satisfying."
They drank.
