Mod Note and Poll.

The challenge from last week stands, seeing as no one posted to it. This community needs a jump-start. I am going to implement a points system. Ten points per drabble. For this week, we'll use 'Team A' and 'Team B'. Use the poll below to enter possible team names and next week there will be a poll to see which names win. So the challenge is still "Endings".

[Poll #502584]

To get the ball rolling.

Title: An Ending that leads to a Beginning
Rating: Safe for All
Words: 100
Characters: snupin
Notes: Not my best, but I liked it enough to post it.

It was over. This had been the moment he had waited for, and it was nothing like he’d expected it to be. In a moment with a bright light and death Severus had realized that he became useless. He no longer had a purpose other than to teach the dunderheads of Hogwarts. The he saw him – Remus – lying a pool of blood, with his eyes nearly glazed over. Without thinking, he reached Remus. He was still breathing. Saving Remus became his purpose. Keeping Remus safe was now his task – if Remus would allow him to do what he had planned.

Now you post something better ... I know you can. And thanks for the team name suggestions. When we get a few more, I'll set up a poll to vote.

First Experience

Title: First Experience
Rating: PG-13
Characters: Severus/Remus
Challenge: Ending
Word count: 100
Notes: written for [livejournal.com profile] sapphiretragedy, because I *heart* you. :)

"That's it?" Severus asked incredulously.

"Yes, Severus," Remus replied, sitting up and gathering his belongings. "I'm afraid that it's over."

"What do you mean over? It can't be over yet! That's just too quick!"

"Well, if you weren't so reluctant and sulky at the beginning, you'd have been able to feel something." Remus started to stand.

"Remus..."

"Why are you whining? Haven't you enjoyed yourself?"

"Yes, it's wonderful," Severus said quickly. "A bit anticlimactic, that's all. It's my first time, you know."

Remus softened. "I'm sure we can do it again. But I get to pick the movie next time."
