Severus glared at the blue liquid in the phial in his hand. No, it wasn’t true. It couldn’t be true. He must have made a mistake. Unless . . .

He thought back to Christmas Eve. Remus showed him what a bar of chocolate and a tube of whipped cream could do in an expert’s hands. Severus blushed. Surely it hadn’t happened that night?

But it explained everything: his fatigue, headaches, loss of appetite – all of it caused by Remus Lupin.

“What’s the matter, Severus?”

Severus sneered. “Leave it to you to give me mono, Lupin.”

Remus fainted.
