Title: Sleepless Night

Authors Notes: Sometimes we all get a little lonely.
Remus laid there in just his pajama bottoms, looking out the window. His bed was positioned so that he could see the moon at all times. Sleeping with Severus kept the nightmares at bay, but when he was alone, he needed reassurance sometimes that they weren’t real; seeing a non-full moon gave him that. He thought about what Severus could possibly be doing right now; if maybe he was thinking about him as well.
“Remus?” There was a soft call from the doorway. It was Severus. “Are you awake?”
“Yes.” Spoken just as softly.
“I couldn’t sleep without you, either.”
